Hello and thank you very much for stopping by! Bearth is an extremely important moment in life that should be handled with an abundance of love and kare.
I am accepting clients in the Atlanta, GA area until May 2025.
I will begin supporting bearths in the Jacksonville, FL area with due dates starting September 2025.
*** First and foremost I will begin by clearly stating EVERY PLACENTA CANNOT BE CONSUMED. Please be sure to consult with a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist prior to any consumption of your placenta! ***
The placenta is the most forgotten and disrespected part of pregnancy. It is due to the strength of the placenta that a healthy baby grows. Today, I can no longer comprehend the thought throwing away this most precious and amazing “organ” into the trash. Today, that thought really makes me sad.
The placenta does deserve to be honored. Every family should truly take a moment to thank the placenta for supporting their little one or ones throughout pregnancy. You can honor your placenta without consuming it simply by burying it in the family yard. Burying small pieces is better as the one large placenta can over nourish an area and cause plants to actually die. ☹ For many of my clients I dehydrate the placenta, blend it into a powder form and then give it back to them to spread in places and or to keep in spaces sacred to them. This powder (very small amounts) has been added to water for fertilization of plants as well both inside and outside of the home.
Now, this placenta that has so wonderfully worked 24/7 for months to grow your little angel can not only continue to nourish your baby after birth, but the mother as well through consumption.
There are a number of ways to consume your placenta. Anyone who test positive for Group B Strep should not consume any portion of their placenta raw! However, the stories are very much true about women who will mix a small portion of their placenta into a smoothie or fry and eat it. Yes, the placenta can be consumed in that manner.
Encapsulation is when the placenta is dehydrated and blended into a powder. The powder is then filled into capsules to be taken by mouth just like any other vitamin or pill.
There are lots of benefits found with taking these capsules especially for the mother. The iron that is found in the capsules assist with rebuilding blood cells and iron levels. Anemia can lead to a number of issues such as fatigue, shortness of breath and depression.
The hormones within the capsules are also wonderful to assist with rebalancing of hormones as well. These capsules also contain fiber, potassium, and a variety of vitamins and minerals to support mother’s healing.
Here in Atlanta as well as throughout the country, placentas delivered via c section only can be donated to create medicine for diabetic and burn victims with severe burns or wounds. The placenta and umbilical cord are used to create allografts, which provide support in wound closure and faster healing than other methods used. You can visit PlacentaDontation.com for more information.
Yes, the increase milk supply is very much true. A healthy mom produces healthy breastmilk.
Whether you decided to consume your placenta or not I do believe that you should honor it in some way don’t just let it be thrown away.
